Lola Dupré, After Kensai Yamamoto AW 1979-80, 2019

When working from home means being your own team… Kickstarting Monday with a multi-faceted artwork by Lola Dupré. The Scottish collage artist boasts a distinctly Dada aesthetic, imbuing people, animals and architecture alike with extra features and exaggerated proportions to whimsical effect—as per this wonderful reconfiguration of model Sayoko Yamaguchi strutting the runway during Kensai Yamamoto’s autumn/winter 1979 show (originally shot by Paul van Riel).
