A lesson in immersing yourself in your art from the late French artist Mirka Mora, here photographed in her Melbourne studio by Sean Fennessy in 2014. Mora, a noted colourist and symbolist, worked across painting, sculpture and mosaic, but was also a dab hand at decorating her clothes—as evidenced by this sublime sweater, which is covered in the same signature motifs (including birds, leaves and wide-eyed children) as the mural behind her.
