Tony Vaccaro, Peggy Guggenheim, Venice, 1966

Sunny Sunday goals à la the inimitable American art collector, Peggy Guggenheim. She spent the last thirty years of her life in Venice, where she never failed to cut a dash, thanks to her collection of signature sunglasses in a plethora of eye-catching shapes and sizes, and the frequent presence of her beloved Lhasa Apso dogs. Here she is with one such pup and stand-out specs, cruising the Grand Canal in her private gondola, in a wonderful shot by the esteemed American photographer, Tony Vaccaro.
