Taking the plunge… This immersive painting is the handiwork of Dutch artist Alice Brasser, whose work frequently depicts figures revelling in nature, rendered in hypnotic hues. “The main theme in Brasser’s work is the landscape,” explains the artist’s bio. “Trees, grasses, fields and flowers are recurring motifs in her drawings and paintings, in which night and dusk, light and shadow, reflections in water and especially the intensity of colour evoke an atmosphere of mystery.”
