Trash bags have never looked as aesthetically pleasing as they do in this artful arrangement by Barcelona-based art director Ana Domínguez, in collaboration with Apartamento magazine co-founders Omar Sosa and Nacho Alegre for the publication’s 19th issue. Domínguez is a doyenne of joyfully surreal set-ups, enhanced by her exquisite eye for composition. She is inspired in her endeavours by the likes of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Fischli Weiss and Irving Penn, whose fondness for the poetic piling of objects she often mirrors.
