Louka, a small village in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic, is home to some of the most beautifully decorated houses on the planet—thanks to the efforts of a retired agriculturalist and nonagenarian named Anežka Kašpárková. Upon retiring over thirty years ago, the accomplished artist turned her hobby into a daily endeavour, setting out to enliven local abodes with traditional Moravian motifs, hand-painted in a glorious ultramarine blue. All the inspiration we need for a spot of Sunday D.I.Y.
