A sublime sun spot, courtesy of Lisbon-based architecture studio Bak Gordon Arquitectos, and Casa Azul, the minimal holiday home they designed in Grândola, Portugal. The T-shaped structure is comprised of three suites, each with its own bathroom and interior terrace (pictured). Masterful geometry allows for the elegant interplay of light and shade, while large windows and the building’s lining, made from locally sourced pigmented lime mortar and cork, ensure that the dwelling remains cool, even in the height of Portuguese summer.
