Catherine Parsonage, Untitled, 2019

Fancy a drink? It is the last day of the most relaxing month of the year, after all. You deserve it. This drawing by Catherine Parsonage has us reaching for the whiskey. It is currently being shown with London gallery Bosse & Baum at Art-O-Rama in Marseille, which is perhaps the most “holiday vibes” fair in the whole art world calendar (unless you like your holidays on the decidedly more raucous/hedonistic/yacht-filled side of things, in which case, it’s definitely Miami Basel). The fair offers collectors and gallerists one last sunny hurrah in the southern French port city, surrounded by some world-class art. It was the first fair to come to the South of France, starting in 2007, and brings together a majority of European galleries.
