Featured inside (and on the cover of) Elephant Issue 40, the pair’s “bodacious, OTT” imagery uses the glossy aesthetics of advertising to present “a sedimentation of symbols [that] reveal the effects of history, politics, the economy and popular culture [upon] contemporary society, specifically [within] the Gulf region”, in the words of their gallery, Espai Tactel.
