An installation we’d like to get lost in, this playful piece was dreamed up by the French artist Cyril Lancelin. Through his creative studio, Town and Concrete, Lancelin aims to “forge links between the physical and the fictional”, creating sculptures, immersive installations, drawings, virtual experiences and videos for the purpose. This graphic proposal for a vast, inflatable 3D labyrinth was designed in 2018 and embodies the artist’s fascination with “notions of repetition and parametric generation… which anticipate our passage into a world of multiplied and shared data”. It also looks like a prime location for a game of hide and seek.
