Today’s five-a-day fix comes courtesy of Devyn Ormsby (aka @devonmade), an Aukland-based glass artist, specialising in fruit—from bananas and pears to clementines and lemons. Inspired by the blown-glass fruit-makers of the 1960s, Ormsby has reimagined the ornament trend for contemporary fruit lovers, rendering each piece in a single, soft hue. She makes her moulds from real fruit, using the lost wax process, so that the final sculptures come complete with dimples, dents and all—to particularly pleasing effect.
