Midweek movement motivation, courtesy of emerging Ghanaian artist Foster Sakyiamah, the current Artist in Residence at the Noldor Residency in Accra. Applying elements of graphic design to his spellbinding painting practice, Sakyiamah creates wonderfully dynamic figurative art made up of intricate swirling lines. The artist describes his work as portraying “his innermost feelings and activities within his surroundings”, drawing on the “rich cultural heritage of his people” for the purpose.
