French Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale

The greatest badge of honour at the 58th Venice Biennale is surely a mask from Laure Prouvost’s immersive installation for the French pavilion. News of the incredible underwater universe spread quickly, with massive queues stretching across the Giardini. Our editor at large Holly Black and contributor Billie Muraben (pictured) made it through the scrum of press, curators, collectors and other art world glitterati. The best overheard statement was perhaps “I don’t wait this long for the Mona Lisa.”
