Guda Koster, Box, 2015

A Boxing Day look, brought to you by the Dutch artist Guda Koster. This work formed part of a 2015 series which saw the sculptor and performance artist create surreal set-ups using boldly patterned textiles and vast, geometric shapes. In each scene, she would adopt a character guise and costume, hiding her upper body beneath a matching giant shape—with absurd, psychologically suggestive results.
