Hi Thanks Bye, Collection 0, 2018

The London Design Fair opens today at the Old Truman Brewery in London. Plastic is the material of the year; Denmark, South Korea, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands have country pavilions; and the Canadian design brand Hi Thanks Bye (based in Toronto) has a special focus. The brand’s Collection 0, shown above with decidedly candy striper-esque vibes, is a sculptural interpretation of the Canadian landscape, fused with “a Chinese aesthetic”. We’re not sure about you, but Elephant would be rather scared to sit on any of this furniture…
