AI: More than Human has just opened at London’s Barbican Centre, billed as an invitation to explore our relationship with artificial intelligence. Featured artists include Neri Oxman, teamLab and Es Devlin, while a whole host of robots (including several very affectionate robotic dogs) pop up along the way. This larger-than-life robot was created by a new, joint research project between robotocists and artificial life researchers. With a bare machine body and a disarmingly realistic face of unknown age or sex, it learns and matures by interacting with its surroundings; an uncanny melding of human and computer. You’ve got until 26 August to check out the show.
