Does anyone else have their head in the clouds this week? We do quite literally in this instance, courtesy of this majestic depiction of a brooding skyscape by American painter Ian Fisher. Fisher is an expert conjuror of clouds in all their different guises, depicting them at various times of day, in all kinds of skies. From wispy pink puffs to looming masses that resemble snow-capped mountains, his giant tableaux encapsulate the sheer wonder, and extraordinary colour palette of the sky in a way that photographs rarely manage to—and we can’t get enough of them.
