Half-asleep and dreaming of summer: a suitably slow-paced start to the week from the mind of Canada-born, Oslo-based artist Isabelle Feliu, who has charmed art and fashion fans alike with her playful illustrations of well-dressed women in lush, imaginary settings. Feliu attributes both the tropical bent of her sun-drenched locales and her eye for sartorial design to her Honduran mother, a seamstress. Meanwhile, the figures’ exaggerated proportions, she says, aim to celebrate body diversity—and do so with unquestionable style.
