Sun’s out, buns out: a hands-on start to Monday courtesy of Chinese-American artist Jeffrey Cheung. With their fluid use of line and bold colours, Cheung’s figurative works explore themes of freedom, identity, and intersectionality. They usually feature multiple characters in a tangle of tenderly intertwined bodies—or, in this case, engaging in a particularly intimate inspection—resulting in a playful celebration of queer culture.
