Lily Holder, Adrian Reclining, 2020

Monday lethargy, as captured by British artist Lily Holder. Holder describes herself as “flesh obsessed”, and devotes much of her time to documenting the human body in all its different shapes and forms, in a wonderfully free-flowing, linear style. She is a life drawing model herself and spoke with Louise Benson earlier this year for Benson’s investigation into the art of posing nude. “My relationship with my body and my identity is not perfect,” she reflected, “but I know it’s so much better than it would have been if I hadn’t started modelling”.
