Lina Bo Bardi, Office/Studio, Sao Paulo, Brazil, 1986

What would your dream studio look like? We’d be pretty thrilled if ours resembled this—the office and workshop of lauded Brazilian architect, furniture designer, and jeweller Lina Bo Bardi. Built in the vicinity of her famous glass home in the Sao Paulo rainforest, the studio boasts a geometrically assembled plywood exterior, painted a pale green to complement its verdant surroundings. Inside is a haven of warm woods and soft lighting that lives up to Bardi’s famous belief that interiors should inspire their inhabitants to achieve their highest potential.
