Some Friday movement motivation from British painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, whose Tate Britain exhibition Fly in League with the Night is a must-see as soon as galleries are allowed to reopen. This beautiful, energetic work sold for a record-breaking sum at Sotheby’s New York in 2017. Hilton Als wrote of its effervescent appeal, “I was raised in a family of women, and Lynette’s The Hours Behind You (2011) is not far from what I saw them do together: celebrate their bodies, and thus one another, in a whirlwind of joy.”
