A weighty Tuesday tableau conjured up by the Spanish postmodernist architect Manuel Nunez Yanowsky, and photographer by Giaime Meloni. This compelling, Caryatid-clad building can be found in Villaroy, France and was designed by Yanowsky in 1992. Before becoming an architect, Yanowsky studied history and archeology, interests that manifest themselves in this wildly imaginative scheme for a block of 110 housing units, its corners supported by sturdy replicas of the Venus de Milo.
