While it may appear to be a mountaintop covered in powdered paint, this multicoloured marvel is in fact entirely natural—a spectacular volcano in Iceland, no less. It is one of many that pepper the country, and was committed to film by photographer Marcel Musil, who set out to document the best of these breathtaking formations in 2011.
