The RA Schools Show 2019 is currently running until 30 June, where fourteen final-year students exhibit work across a range of mediums, including video and sound work, sculpture, painting and mixed media. This year marks the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the RA Schools in 1769, making it the longest running art school in Britain. The school offers the only free three-year postgraduate course in Europe, making it a unique launchpad for the next generation of artists. Rarely open to the public, the annual graduate show opens up the students’ working studios, revealing a functioning contemporary art school in the midst of the RA. This large-scale work by graduating student Matilda Moors draws playfully on the graphic lines of illustration, manipulating perspectives between 2D and 3D.
