Sun’s out, tums out. This excellent photograph was taken by the Swiss photographer Matthieu Lavanchy during a visit to the studio of the French artist Etienne Gros in 2014. Gros is known for his sensual sculptures of the female form, miraculously rendered in foam, while Lavanchy is lauded for his unerring ability to breathe life into inanimate tableaux: a perfect (polyurethane-tinged) pairing if ever there was one.
