A surprised-to-see-you start to Saturday by German multi-media artist Mitch (aka @itsallinsideus), whose Instagram is filled with paintings of (predominantly feline) figures in surreal setups. Mitch’s protagonists are an existential bunch, who spend a lot of time peering at themselves in reflective surfaces, losing themselves in expansive landscapes, or weeping silent rivers of tears. A humorous embodiment of everyday anxiety, they make for strangely relatable viewing.
