A soothing mountain scene by Ukrainian painter Natalia Korf-Ivanyuk. The Kremenchuk-born artist made the work in 2016, as part of a series of abstracted alpine paintings titled, Living Matter. These experiments in texture, form and colour are as tactile as they are spellbinding. “Paint texture, fabric and collage helped me to reach the desired effect, creating the illusion of sparkle on canvas, and [inviting] an interaction with colour,” Natalia Korf-Ivanyuk explained.
