Artists and friends Paloma Proudfoot and Lindsey Mendick have embarked upon their first collaborative exhibition at Hannay Barry Gallery, utilizing the saucy portmanteau “Proudick”. Their immersive installation borrows from the bizarre tabloid intimacy of celebrity lovers such as KimYe and Brangelina, as well as the dangerous and sensual female figures that populate Greek mythology, not to mention their own friendship, which is populated by conversations around ex-lovers, hangovers, and other seemingly banal text chats.
