Sara Choudhrey’s research-based approach to art practice informs an investigative process of engaging with themes on space, place, border and order.
Sara is inspired by Islamic art and architecture and is interested in the construction and application of patterns based on geometry and botanical forms. Through both her research and artworks, Sara raises the question of whether hybrid art presents an affinity to an ever globalising and hybrid society, seeking inspiration through spaces where cultures intersect.
