Central to my practice is the exploration and elevation of the narratives, from the communities and individuals with whom I interact with. Capturing banal moments of connections and intimacies; Through my gaze as an artist, as a woman, a Londoner and a member of the African diaspora whose story is closely informed by 4 continents. The work takes the form of oil paintings, mono printing, drawings and cut-outs. I’d like to use the residency to combine these practices to create painting installation.
