As Henri Matisse famously said, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them”, and Robby Müller, the legendary Dutch cinematographer behind such visually delighting classics as Wim Wenders’ Paris, Texas, was always on the look out for them. Müller was an obsessive photographer, particularly when it came to snapping Polaroids, and found flora, of all shapes and forms, a captivating subject. The resulting images are incredibly beautiful—a valuable reminder to stop and appreciate life’s small wonders.
