Which young artists should be on your radar in 2020? A new show opening in London this month brings together over forty of the most promising recent graduates, who are all creating figurative work. The body is a central theme at the Mall Galleries show—FBA Futures 2020–with artists such as Amy Steel, Miranda Forrester and Sara Anstis exploring the female form. “The works on show explore a variety of subjects relevant to our times,” says the gallery, “from 21st century feminism to global identities, and celebrate the current resurgence of interest in representational painting that is taking place in art schools across the nation.”
