Sarah Blais, Tamburins White Object, 2020

A “treading on eggshells” extravaganza for your Easter Sunday delectation. This suggestive scene was dreamed up and documented by Berlin-based photographer Sarah Blais, whose practice “revolves around capturing the surrealism she sees in ordinary life and subtly shifting familiar narratives to build tension and connection in an image, always with an undertone of joy”, according to her agency Chris Boals Artists. And this tentatively teetering egg-heel endorser sums up her playful attitude perfectly.
