Sunny Sundays should be spent in parks, or at least that’s the conclusion we’ve come to after perusing Canadian photographer Scott Rossi’s new book, Common Place, filled as it is with pictures he took in New York’s Central Park. “There are families, friends, lovers and solo trippers, practicing pursuits as varied as martial arts and medieval roleplay,” writes Holly Black in a feature on the publication for Elephant. “The richness of activity shows just how vital public parks are to a sense of freedom, where people can gather without the need for either payment or any specific purpose, and the act of being alone need not be lonely.” Read the article in full here.
