Inspired by Picasso’s longstanding belief that “art is the elimination of the unnecessary”, Barzilay’s distinctive style sees everything from faces to figures to fish distilled down to simplified line drawings—primarily in the form of digital prints—in what she describes as “an attempt to reveal the unseen”.
