Brutalism meets Medieval ruins at the entrance to the Castelgrande, one of three historic castles on the Alpine foothills of Bellinzona in Switzerland. In the 1980s, the Swiss architect Aurelio Galfetti was invited to create this brutalist intervention as part of a larger revitalisation of the 13th-century stone castle.
