Art takes to the streets tonight in London, with Whitechapel Gallery’s annual Nocturnal Creatures kicking off from 6pm. All are welcome at the free late night contemporary art festival, where for one night only a whole host of extraordinary east-end spaces are transformed by installations, performances, music, film and culinary experiences. Highlights include Michael Rakowitz’s food intervention in the Whitechapel Refectory, a performance by Laure Prouvost, featuring an eavesdropping opera singer and the dynamic imagery of Tabita Rezaire.
