In the brand new issue of Elephant, Vinca Petersen—the British photographer and co-founder of the Future Youth Project (FYP), a small direct action organisation running humanitarian projects in Ukraine—presents an exclusive sequence of photographs documenting the time she spent in the country over the last 20 years. In it, she recounts some of the stories behind the works, including this wonderfully candid picture of two friends in handmade masks.
