It’s time to vote in the UK general election. Two and a half years later, here we are again. This is the first time since 1923 that a UK general election has been held in December, and will be held under the Early Parliamentary General Elections Act 2019. Your local polling station will be open from 7am to 10pm today. As we all know, Brexit has dominated British politics since the last general election and remains a key factor in today’s voting, with major differences between the policy positions of the major parties. In 2016, declaiming that the official Remain branding was “lame”, Wolfgang Tillmans came up with this campaign of twenty-five posters, a call to arms to UK residents to stay in the EU, featuring direct, stirring slogans.
