Two vibrant blue nudes, depicted from thigh to head height, stand guard either side of a brilliant white statue. They’re backed with luminescent gold, their stark blockiness in contrast with their frivolous surroundings. This, of course, is Yves Klein at Blenheim Palace, which has received mixed reviews since opening last week. The show coincides with what would have been the French artist’s ninetieth birthday year.
