Chapman Brothers, Glitter Glitter Everywhere, 2018

Mid-January is bleak. It’s cold, everyone is skint, resolutions are down the pan and somehow payday (and joy) seem like sad, distant specks on the horizon. Why not, then, cheer ourselves up courtesy of those, erm, perennial purveyors of chipper, the Chapman Brothers? Better known for phallus-faced kids or gruesome war tableaux, here they are venturing into chirpiness and glitter, with a print titled Glitter Glitter Everywhere. Have they mellowed, with all this yellow? We hope not, but we’re into it anyway. The print is on show with Jealous gallery as part of the London Art Fair this week, which runs until 20 January.
