This flexible figure is the handiwork of Mexico City-based artist Clotilde Jiménez, whose compelling collages draw on his own experiences as a queer, Black hispanic artist “in the hopes of highlighting the stories of those who have previously been marginalised and ignored”, writes Rebecca Fulleylove in an archive feature for Elephant.
