Mary Quant by Vic Singh, c1961

As London Fashion Week kicks off, what better time to celebrate one of the greatest British fashion movements of all time? Mary Quant and Terence Conran revolutionized womenswear in the 1960s with sky-high hemlines, affordable prices and celebrating all things youthful. The Fashion and Textile Museum show Swinging London commemorates their work, along with art, design and photography from their Chelsea Set peers, including Eduardo Paolozzi and Nigel Henderson until 2 June.
