Stephen Shore, Room 509, Dnipro Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine, July 18, 2012

Around the world, many artists are engaging in fundraising efforts to help those affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Among them is American photographer Stephen Shore, who is currently showing his moving series Survivors in Ukraine at 303 Gallery in New York. The project sees Shore capture the homes and villages of Holocaust survivors across the country, painting a powerful portrait of their daily lives and ongoing resilience. All proceeds from the selling exhibition will be donated to the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc and their Humanitarian Aid Fund for Victims of War in Ukraine.
