A Thursday twirl… Today marks the start of Art Basel 2022, Switzerland’s most-anticipated art event. Highlights of this year’s fair include include the debut presentation of pioneering Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino’s two-channel video work Twice: X & Y (1974/2022), and a mural installation, titled Hardware Store Painting, by the inimitable American artist Theaster Gates.
