Victoria Sin, Preface/Looking without Touching, 2017

Milan might be associated with fashion primarily, but alongside some world-class permanent art spaces such as Fondazione Prada, the city also has a terrific art fair. Next week Miart opens, bringing together a global selection of galleries. Richard Saltoun gallery, which has a strong focus on women’s voices (from this month, for the next year, the London gallery’s programme is focused entirely on female artists), is showing Victoria Sin at the fair. Sin is one of numerous artists in the gallery’s Transformer booth, “a group presentation that explores gender and its fluidity through the work of several visionary and ground-breaking artists”.
