Launching today at Elephant’s Kiosk—our one-stop art shop for supplies, materials, prints and artist editions—is a very special collaboration with artist Hin.
Hong Kong-born Hin discovered a talent for drawing after his childhood dreams of becoming a professional footballer were dashed by injury. He eventually relocated to pre-gentrification East London where he became part of a vibrant emerging community of artists. He worked as a successful commercial artist for two decades there, but also worked to promote and engage local audiences through his non-profit East London Art Company. He is now based in Athens and continues to work across a range of mediums—including painting, sculpture and murals. He is best known for his satirical sense of humour, looking at globalised culture and politics, with the bewilderment and perplexity of a child.
“Available exclusively through Kiosk are a limited-edition tote and a unisex tee. Both represent Hin’s irreverent take on contemporary life”
Available exclusively through Kiosk and in limited quantities are a limited-edition tote, printed on thick and supple Fairtrade cotton canvas and a unisex tee, digitally printed on 100% organic climate-neutral cotton. Both images belong to the artist’s self-published book Adam and Eve and represent his trademark style, an irreverent take on contemporary life.
