Holly Black is one of Elephant’s editors at large. Her interests include gender politics, the post-colonial gaze, and the intersection of historical and contemporary art. She has written for publications including AnOther, Aperture, Wallpaper and The Art Newspaper, and has consulted for Tate, The Arts Society and The Courtauld Institute. Previously, she was deputy editor at Art Quarterly magazine, where she worked on all aspects of editorial and print production. Her first book, Artists on Art: How the Masters See, Think & Create is due to be published by Laurence King in 2021.
